I recently finished a new Middle Grade book called Seeds of Time that I’m very excited about! Now that it’s edited, I’m beginning to query agents and publishers with it to try to get it traditionally published. I’ve also come up with a new idea for a Middle Grade stand-alone book. The working title right now is The Boy From The Hills – let me know what you think of it. Keep checking back for more writing news and updates!

Vendor Events:
I am attending the Frankfurt Fall Craft Show in Ridgely, West Virginia, on Saturday, October 18th from 9am-2pm. This was a wonderful show last year, and I’m looking forward to participating with them again this year.
I will be participating as a vendor at the Urbana Indoor Art & Craft Show in Urbana, Maryland, on Saturday, October 25th from 9am-4pm. It should be a great show, and this is my first time attending it, so come on out and check out all the goodies
I am also attending St. Leo Catholic Churchs 2025 Fall Craft and Collectible Faire in Inwood, West Virginia, on Sunday, October 26th from 10am-2pm. I’ve participated in their shows in the past, and there’s always a TON of great vendors. Come out and shop around!
I’m scheduled to attend the Gobble Til You Wobble Craft Show at the Bedington Ruritan Club in Falling Waters, West Virginia, on Sunday, November 2nd from 11am-4pm. This is a local show for me and I look forward to seeing everyone come out and support local artisans.
I plan on being at the Catonsville Fall Craft Show in Catonsville, Maryland, on Saturday, November 8th from 7am-4pm. This is a long show, so you have plenty of time to come out and enjoy doing some shopping.
I will be a vendor at the Thurmont Christmas Market Craft and Vendor Show in Thurmont, Maryland, on Saturday, November 15th and Sunday, November 16th from 9am-3pm at the Thurmont Event Complex in Thurmont, MD. This will be my first time at this show as well, and you’ve got 2 days to come check us out so don’t forget to add it to your calendars!
I will also be attending the Severn Run High School Craft Fair in Severn, Maryland, on Saturday, November 22nd from 9am-1pm. This is my first time attending this show and I’m looking forward to partnering with the school.
Finally, my biggest show is the Faith Christian Academy Christmas Bazaar in Martinsburg, West Virginia, which will be held on Friday, December 5th from 10am-7pm. The first half of the show is for the students to shop for family members, but from 3pm on it is open to the public. This is always a fantastic craft show, so don’t miss getting some Christmas shopping done here.

Other Outreach/Special Projects:
I am beginning to set up Book Readings and Author Discussions with my local schools. I will read my books and do an author discussion with each grade, as well as handing out coloring sheets and puzzle pages to all the students. I’m really looking forward to engaging with the students and promoting writing to our youth! If you have a youngster in an elementary school, primary school, intermediate school, or middle school, reach out to the school librarian and ask her to contact me about scheduling an author visit.
Finally, I am starting a writer’s workshop that I will be offering free of charge for groups of interested writers. I am happy to schedule this with schools, youth groups, writer’s groups, or any group that wishes to learn more about the craft of writing.
