Good Morning everyone! I’ve been off of my game this past week but I’ll try to get back on track this coming week.
For now, I am trying to figure out how to balance marketing Laurel Hill: New Beginnings and working on writing on the second book in the Laurel Hill Series, the two new picture books I have ideas for, and developing the new Young Adult Mystery/Crime Series I have ideas on – all while working full-time!
I feel guilty for not writing in months and I REALLY WANT to be writing! I miss the creative juices flowing and the excitement when I’m writing! The only thing I can come up with is to actually create a schedule – specify time each week for marketing and time for writing. But I know that I’m my most focused and productive in the mornings so I don’t think during the week is going to be an option because of work. I guess my Saturdays are going to be busy for a while, but if I can try get on a schedule I think I’ll feel more accomplished and productive and it’ll keep me in creative mode for a while!
Anybody have any other writing tips or tricks to balancing writing, working, and marketing I’d love to hear them! Please comment and share this post so we can get as many ideas as possible!
Have a great week everyone!!!
